Welcome to the Suffolk East Coast Branch of the RSPCA Caring for local animals since 1898
Our website shows what we do in the local area:
- Promoting animal welfare by providing advice and running campaigns.
- Receiving injured, ill-treated, neglected or unwanted animals, helping them to full fitness and finding them new homes.
- Assisting animals in need when their owners are having difficulty.
Advice on pet care, wildlife care and the work of the RSPCA nationally is available on the National RSPCA website. (www.rspca.org.uk)
Please see our "Events" page for upcoming fund raising & animal welfare events.

Morrisons - Beccles
We recently held a fundraiser at Morrison’s in Beccles on 13th - 14th March 2012. It was really nice to meet lots of you on our stall and explain to you about some of the work we are doing to help the local community.
One of the main features of this particular fundraiser was to obtain signatures for a National petition which is currently running to cease the practice of Live Animal Exports, you didn’t disappoint with your response to us asking for your help, with in excess of over 200 signatures being given over the two day period. If you were unable to get along to Morrison’s but still wish to add your name to the list of supporters a petition is available in the Lowestoft shop.
We raised £253.70 in cash donations, plus a trolley full of food which will be distributed to needy cats and dogs in our care locally.
May I please say a huge “Thank you” to the staff at Morrison’s, the volunteers who gave their time over the two day period and finally to everybody who visited us. |
