Happy Homes

It is always a happy day when we rehome an animal and we love to hear how they are getting on.
We would like to feature some of our many happy rescued animals so if you have a picture and a few words about your rescue pet that you would like to put on the site please either drop it in or post it to the Lowestoft shop or email it.
Thank you!

SCAMPY
In July 09 we heard about Scampy:
My Fiance and I adopted a cat from you last August, from the Rushmere Cattery. His RSPCA name was Ginge (now Scampy).  Scampy has been a part of our family for almost a year now, and we have enjoyed every minute of having him. He is a mischievious and fun loving cat, a constant source of entertainment for us! He settled in very quickly, and always shows off when we have guests round. He got our attention at the cattery because he climbed up the grill on his enclosure, well now he likes to climb up a 6 foot trellis panel in our garden- supercat! Thank you for helping us to find such an adorable cat, Camilla and Danny

LUCA
The High family sent us these pictures in July 2009
We got Luca in March-he settled into his new home within 5 minutes! He gets up to lots of mischeif like sitting on top of the fish tank and terrorising the local dogs! He is certainly not a scaredy cat!

SMOKEY & JET (formerly known as P.T. & Tiny)
Sean & Jaqui wrote in March '09:
We’ve had Smokey & Jet for about a month now.  Despite being very nervous when we first got them, after a few days they settled in nicely.  They are very affectionate and they love playing together.  When they are tired they like to huddle up in their bed.  They make very good alarm clocks, at about 6 o’clock every morning you can hear them running riot in the kitchen.  This is an indication to us that they are ready for their food.
Jet is currently on antibiotics for the next few days for a respiratory infection (although this hasn’t stopped her from being a nuisance), hopefully she will be back to her normal self next week.
Two very loveable cats, who we wouldn’t change for the world.
Thank you.

OMAR & SISSIE

We received news of Omar & Sissie in mid September:
Omar and Sissie have been with us for almost two months and have settled in nicely. They are both joy to be around and our other three cats and jack russell love them loads. Our older kitty has taken the role of dad to omar as you can see!

ASH

Ash was one  of our hard to re-home cats and had been with us for 1yr.  Ash was taken for a trial in a home with two dogs and two other cats and two teenagers.  He has been in this home for 4weeks and has settled very well, making his bed at the bottom of his new owners bed, he gets on with the other cats and ignores the dogs and the teenagers.
Ash has been adopted and is very happy and contended

THOMAS

From Rachel on 20th May 2008:
Thomas has been with us for about two months now.  He has settled in nicely and has enjoyed exploring outside and making sure the local cats know he is the boss.
Thomas has really found his voice just lately; he has spent 2 weekends in the Rushmere cattery and proceeds to cry the whole way there and the whole way back, heartbreaking for any parent!
After we spent copious amounts of money on toys for Thomas, we have discovered that he likes nothing more than a Ping Pong ball and an old shoe lace to play with… He is also quite interested in our phone charger!
We have attached some pictures of our new addition but right now we have to go… someone’s hungry!
